Our Founder
From before I can even remember, flowers have always entranced me. One of my earliest memories is going on walks with my grandpa and stopping to smell every flower I saw. Whether it was on a bush, a weed, or in a flower bed, I just had to smell it. Sometimes smelling Marigolds takes me right back to those walks with my grandpa. I believe that flowers hold special memories, and I want to help create that for other people. Poppy Seed by Jill E. was designed purely out of love and passion. My hope is that I can help create lasting memories through beautiful designs. Smelling a rose may take you back to your wedding day, while to someone else it may be their graduation day. Poppy Seed by Jill E. was started in early 2018 in her homestate of Arizona. While working as a registered medical assistant, she did floristry on the side and arranged her first wedding when she was 22. After that wedding, she was completely obsessed! She enrolled in the Judith Blacklock Flower School in London, England in November of 2022 and completed her International Professional Business of Floristry and Events Styling Course. Her certificate is aknowledged by the AIFD, BAC, and Institute of Horticulture. She hopes to one day transition from freelancing, to owning her own flower shop where she can bring more joy to people.
